- No flight required to earn miles.
- AAdvantage membership number must be presented at time of rental in order to receive frequent flyer miles.
- Mileage can be earned for rentals at participating National locations in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and the Caribbean.
- Tour, travel industry, complimentary rentals, AAdvantage Hospitality Awards and AAdvantage Car Companion Award Certificates do not qualify for mileage awards.
- National collects a Frequent Flyer Tax Recoupment Surcharge to cover the federal tax on the cost of the miles awarded at time of rental.
