Las Vegas Car Rental

Las Vegas has so much to offer beyond its famous Strip. Though South Las Vegas Boulevard is a popular destination for business and pleasure, there's plenty of art, culture, and history to be found throughout the city.

Work Hard and Play Hard in Las Vegas

Passengers arriving at McCarran International Airport will land at either the Terminal 1 building or the Terminal 3 building. Each has a parking and baggage claim section as well as an array of restaurants (note that the best options are available beyond the security checkpoints). Both terminals have their own Starbucks so you can get that jolt of caffeine before venturing into the city. An inter-terminal shuttle service can ferry passengers who need to transition between the two buildings.

Las Vegas Convention Center is the premier option for conference space in Las Vegas. Located at 3150 Paradise Road, you'll find a 73-acre property housing over 145 meeting rooms. There are two restaurants on site as well as 18 concession stands and a Starbucks. There's also a sizable parking lot that can accommodate over 10,000 cars. The airport and the convention center are on Paradise Road, so this is a simple drive that will take approximately 10 minutes.

Find Entertainment off the main Strip

The city's downtown area has some of the best and most diverse restaurants in town. If you're meeting anyone for a business lunch, go to Carson Kitchen for gourmet burgers and flatbread plates. There's a rooftop patio, which is perfect for views overlooking downtown. The arts district also has plenty of options for food and culture. Mingo Kitchen & Lounge is a good choice if you prefer a modern atmosphere and a delicious cocktail. For something truly memorable, bring your associates to Lotus of Siam. This Thai restaurant is widely considered to be the best in America.

If you have a layover or a delay, you certainly won't be bored in Las Vegas. The Fremont Street Experience in the downtown area has live music and culture in an open-air, 24-hour mall. If you want to avoid tourists, however, you'll need to plan a trip away from the Strip. Should you be up for some hiking and exercise, try the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, which opens at 6 a.m.

This is just a scratch on the surface of possibilities in Las Vegas. Plan ahead and build in extra “fun” time outside of your meetings and appointments.
