Things to Do in Los Angeles

If you’re in Los Angeles, entertainment is king. From bars and clubs to the beach and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, there’s no shortage of activities. However, no trip to Los Angeles is complete without seeing the famous Hollywood sign. Situated on the hills in Hollywood, this iconic sign is perfect for photo ops. But, if you’re feeling adventurous, you should definitely take a hike to the top.

When you want to indulge your taste buds, Los Angeles has plenty of options. The Palm is one of the most storied restaurants in the downtown area, serving steaks, seafood, and other culinary delights. The best part is that it’s situated just blocks from the Los Angeles Convention Center, making it easy and convenient to grab a power lunch or a business dinner.

Traffic and Parking in Los Angeles

There’s no denying it. Parking and traffic in Los Angeles are atrocious. From the 405 to the I-10 and everything in between, traffic doesn’t seem to let up. You may want to leave early to arrive at your destination on time.

Parking can also be problematic, as free parking isn’t an option. However, the City of Los Angeles offers 118 parking garages with more than 11,500 parking spaces. However, if you’re looking to roll the dice, search for yellow or green curbs. Yellow curbs are for passenger or cargo loading, but they’re only enforced from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Green curbs are short-term parking, but only ticketed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
