Airport Information

Before you land at Reno-Tahoe International Airport, you're treated to majestic views of the city and the surrounding mountains. After you touch down and catch your breath, head down the escalators to the first floor and the baggage claim. Across from the baggage claim is the National Car Rental ticket counter where you can conveniently pick up your reserved vehicle.

Depending on the route you take, downtown is between 4.5 - 6 miles from the airport and will take you between 10-15 minutes to get to the city center.

A World of Fun at Around Every Corner

If you've ever been to old Las Vegas, you might have an idea of what to expect in Reno. If not, think of casino-lined streets that offer exciting entertainment and exceptional food. For a great meal with clients or associates, swing by the family-run and local favorite Sabrina’s West Street Kitchen. They’re serving an array of delectable dishes and sandwiches. Its intimate setting is great for business meetings, as well as a quick lunch.

If you're looking for a break from work, Reno offers plenty of places for hiking or jogging. For an urban setting, take a trip down North Virginia Street, right near all the casinos. The Riverwalk District is an all-year hotspot filled with shopping, entertainment and dining options for everyone. It's the perfect place to unwind after a busy day or to start exploring early during some free time.

When you want to get out into nature, head to Lake Tahoe for unbeatable hiking, running, or skiing. Mount Rose Ski Resort is a great spot to finish out a long weekend in the region. But, if something more leisurely floats your boat, the National Automobile Museum will get any gearhead revved up.

Conference Center Information

The Reno-Sparks Convention Center is the largest conference center in Reno and only 3 miles from the airport. The convention center offers over 500,000 square feet of floor space, including 381,000 square feet of exhibition space. A 30,000-square-foot ballroom and 53 meeting rooms highlight the other amenities of the conference center.

If a full convention center is too much for your needs, there are plenty of event spaces in downtown Reno such as The Grove, The Reno Ballroom, and more. Furthermore, you'll find business done at many of the casinos, resorts, and hotels throughout the city.

Reno packs in a lot of entertainment into a small package. Add in the Tahoe region, and you've got plenty to do for weeks at a time. Plan a little extra time while you're in town on business to experience the best of Reno.
